In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desafio FC's goalkeeper Elvio Luix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 minutes Desafio FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Padro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Sebastian Padro to fire away a dangerous shot which Elvio Luix despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Alvaro Fiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Luix was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Desafio FC defense, Nicolaas Anelka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Luix. The Desafio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Luix should have stopped the shot. Desafio FC's Elvio Luix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Desafio FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Evarado in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Luix saved Desafio FC from getting behind. With 48 minutes on the clock, Lázaro Chucho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Padro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Desafio FC's Elvio Luix. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Fiz made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Alvaro Fiz made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Luix. Desafio FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Alvaro Fiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Desafio FC defense, Candido Evarado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Luix. After 75 minutes, Candido Evarado made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Desafio FC's Elvio Luix tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Fiz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Luix saved Desafio FC from getting behind. Elvio Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolaas Anelka, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Nereo George hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Fiz in the 85th minute of play forced Desafio FC's goalkeeper Elvio Luix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Elvio Damario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Candido Evarado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Luix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 94th minute Nicolaas Anelka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Luix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Fiz in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Luix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victorio Medina's late challenge caught a Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Medina helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
