Jaap van der Schans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Célio Cabral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Bernard in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Segundo Rocca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaap van der Schans was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 46 played minutes Westenenk got a freekick which was hit by Joop Koopmans. Jaap van der Schans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Bernard in the 47th minute.

Jaap van der Schans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Valio Tammisto sped through LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Ur. In the 62nd minute Segundo Rocca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Cabral during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Westenenk booed when LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball.
