In the 16th minute, one of Westenenk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Westenenk. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Axelfeldt in the 21st minute of play. Gustaf Tiede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jaap van der Schans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Westenenk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Luque to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind AB Tårnby's goalkeeper Kenn Fronval, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Westenenk from getting a goal against them. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Axelfeldt in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Phillip Pallisø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the game Ebbe Guldbrand made a throw-in which Peer Barlov played forward. Jaap van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Tiede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Alberth Gosmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenn Fronval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustaf Tiede to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valio Tammisto in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenn Fronval prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kenn Fronval didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valio Tammisto went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gustaf Tiede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaap van der Schans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaf Tiede's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute Filip Hansma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenn Fronval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaap van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Tiede in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Ebbe Guldbrand threw the ball into play from the sideline. Westenenk's Adolfo Luque quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AB Tårnby's Kenn Fronval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 73rd minute of play. Kenn Fronval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valio Tammisto in the 94th minute of play. Westenenk were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
