Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Iwo Sawicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herbert Polkoski came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiger's Pentti Ojala. But to his dismay, Pentti Ojala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herbert Polkoski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizka Mendieta in the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Pentti Ojala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pentti Ojala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiger's Josef Witlatschil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tiger from getting a goal against them. When Louis Leißner came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Tiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Leißner couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Czarni Chropaczów's Maciej Huratiak got a free kick in the 16th minute. Czarni Chropaczów's Herbert Polkoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christo Bothenhain in the 17th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Iwo Sawicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Polkoski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Iwo Sawicki scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Polkoski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herbert Polkoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pentti Ojala in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pentti Ojala in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Polkoski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Pentti Ojala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Polkoski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Polkoski came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiger's Pentti Ojala. But to his dismay, Pentti Ojala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwo Sawicki to make the kick off. Herbert Polkoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizka Mendieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Polkoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folko Rebe in the 53rd minute of play. Pentti Ojala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Herbert Polkoski made a huge save. Remigiusz Soroka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josef Witlatschil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Gaizka Mendieta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Polkoski. Czarni Chropaczów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaizka Mendieta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Czarni Chropaczów's Bogumil Bielejewski was substituted for Leonard Giejda. 79 minutes into the match, Marten Weise dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herbert Polkoski, 0-7. After 85 minutes of play, Tiger's Marten Weise made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Polkoski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Czarni Chropaczów made a substitution. Jacek Lech replaced Remigiusz Soroka. If Pentti Ojala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
