After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Santo Domeka got a free kick in the 44th minute. Andrea Pasciu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victorino Kelemen. Mazaredo AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amedeo Giancola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Kelemen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Corrado Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Bergström in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herman Bergström was the one to do the kick off. Corrado Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Bergström in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Walter Vestberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Mazaredo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Walter Vestberg. In the 56th minute of the match Andrea Pasciu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Kelemen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Mazaredo AFC's Ryszard Cytrynski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corrado Contestabile. Corrado Contestabile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Cytrynski. Eigirdas Burnickas charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eigirdas Burnickas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mazaredo AFC booed when Hyblae FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eigirdas Burnickas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mazaredo AFC's Lucas Gaur was substituted for Herman Bergström. Eigirdas Burnickas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Edgard Bero kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Amedeo Giancola came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Hyblae FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Giancola couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mazaredo AFC booed when Hyblae FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Pozorski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hyblae FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mazaredo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
