The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when Manuel Rodríguez 1186 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerio Orellana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvar Paul's late challenge caught a Sorci Viola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvar Paul helped the player get up and apologised. 16 minutes into the game, one of Manuel Rodríguez 1186:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Manuel Rodríguez 1186's zone, Edoardo Meo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Marrodan came out of the goal and Edoardo Meo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan got control of the ball when Alvise Urbani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Manuel Rodríguez 1186's zone, Alvise Urbani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Marrodan came out of the goal and Alvise Urbani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sorci Viola's Cesare Loreto in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manuel Rodríguez 1186's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Sorci Viola's Alvise Urbani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexandre Marrodan. Alexandre Marrodan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Edoardo Meo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Sorci Viola's Edoardo Meo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Marrodan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Loreto in the 42nd minute of play forced Manuel Rodríguez 1186's goalkeeper Alexandre Marrodan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Marrodan came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sorci Viola's Bruno Egidi. But to his dismay, Bruno Egidi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvise Urbani got free with Alexandre Marrodan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurilio Catrileo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Marrodan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Meo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorci Viola were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Manuel Rodríguez 1186's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonello Tarantini took the corner. Alexandre Marrodan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvise Urbani in the 54th minute of the match. Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Toninelli in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarías Camus during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Zacarías Camus got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Urbani came free, but Alexandre Marrodan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Piccirilli replaced Cosimo Toninelli. After some careless play in the Manuel Rodríguez 1186 defense, Alvise Urbani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Marrodan. The Manuel Rodríguez 1186 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Marrodan should have stopped the shot. Edoardo Meo took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Marrodan. Alexandre Marrodan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesare Loreto in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Marrodan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 78 minutes, Cesare Loreto made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alvise Urbani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorci Viola's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvise Urbani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Marrodan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Meo in the 88th minute of play.
