With his leg Aldo Kaxen managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Limoeiro-PE FC's Robert Lozovan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROJO's goalkeeper Aldo Kaxen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Limoeiro-PE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doni Barbosa in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Doni Barbosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ROJO's Aldo Kaxen did a great save. 9 minutes into the match, ROJO's goalkeeper Aldo Kaxen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino do Valle. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Benet in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Robert Lozovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 minutes, Robert Lozovan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. ROJO's Aldo Kaxen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Gino do Valle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Kaxen. The goal made the score 2-0. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by ROJO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doni Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Limoeiro-PE FC's players had a chance to rest. Aldo Kaxen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ian Melo. Gino do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Kaxen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The corner ended in Doni Barbosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ROJO's Aldo Kaxen did a great save. Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Byczewski in the 33rd minute of play. Aldo Kaxen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doni Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Aldo Kaxen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gino do Valle in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Kaxen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Ian Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Lozovan to strike the kick off in the second half. Aldo Kaxen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Lozovan in the 50th minute of the match. If Robert Lozovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ROJO's Aldo Kaxen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Lozovan in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tomás Cabral hit a great ball. Gino do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gino do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Kaxen having to interfere. After some careless play in the ROJO defense, Doni Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Kaxen. The ROJO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Kaxen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Fontes in the 68th minute of play forced ROJO's goalkeeper Aldo Kaxen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Kaxen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Aldo Kaxen came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Limoeiro-PE FC's Robert Lozovan. But to his dismay, Robert Lozovan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ROJO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
