When FC Klavertje Vier's Eustaquio Bartoli in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dundee Rovers's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Philipp Van Kestbeek sped through Dundee Rovers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brandon Borthwick. After 7 played minutes Eustaquio Bartoli rounded Dundee Rovers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 11th minute Eustaquio Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Borthwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Borthwick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joery Hylen's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joos Horemans. In the 19th minute, Josh Galloway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keith Beton during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the game, one of Dundee Rovers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dundee Rovers:s Brandon Borthwick showed great skill when he stopped Georges-Philippe Jooris:s penalty. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Philipp Van Kestbeek sped through Dundee Rovers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brandon Borthwick. 33 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Bartoli came free, but Brandon Borthwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Dundee Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. William McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Dundee Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Gus Simpson. Philipp Van Kestbeek had several of the Dundee Rovers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-1 score and a disappointed Brandon Borthwick as he didn't even see the shot coming. Brandon Borthwick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joery Hylen went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. FC Klavertje Vier were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Dundee Rovers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Georges-Philippe Jooris took the corner. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nick McDonachie to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, FC Klavertje Vier's Celedonio Kemen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brandon Borthwick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Kemen in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joery Hylen in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brandon Borthwick saved Dundee Rovers from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Joery Hylen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Borthwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Borthwick came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Joery Hylen. But to his dismay, Joery Hylen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Kemen in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Celedonio Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Borthwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joery Hylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bartoli in the 75th minute of play forced Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Claude Montens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brandon Borthwick was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Joos Horemans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Brandon Borthwick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Claude Montens notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick. Brandon Borthwick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the game, FC Klavertje Vier's Joery Hylen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brandon Borthwick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. In the 91st minute, Joos Horemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Montens in the 95th minute of play. FC Klavertje Vier's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
