The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dundee Rovers's William McJames got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Brandon Borthwick made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Andrej Ďuriš sent off a good shot on target. Ulryk Rutecki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brandon Borthwick came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulryk Rutecki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, FC FERNET BOYS's Ulryk Rutecki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Dundee Rovers from getting a goal against them. Nick McDonachie hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Brandon Borthwick came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC FERNET BOYS's Andrej Ďuriš. But to his dismay, Andrej Ďuriš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Andrej Ďuriš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC FERNET BOYS's Ludwig Apelqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver McIlvride in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrej Ďuriš. In the 26th minute Gus Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Apelqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrej Ďuriš hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Brandon Borthwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Ďuriš, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Brandon Borthwick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulryk Rutecki went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Andrej Ďuriš kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomáš Michal. In the 38th minute, Guy McInroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Dundee Rovers from getting a goal against them. Ludwig Apelqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick McDonachie in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nick McDonachie to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Sergio Agüero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brandon Borthwick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Tomáš Michal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brandon Borthwick. Dundee Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomáš Michal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 63 minutes of play, FC FERNET BOYS's Vladimír Pechočiak made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brandon Borthwick was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Andrej Ďuriš managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC FERNET BOYS's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrej Ďuriš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Borthwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nick McDonachie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ludwig Apelqvist made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, FC FERNET BOYS's Andrej Ďuriš sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brandon Borthwick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Michal in the 74th minute of play forced Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandon Borthwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Ďuriš in the 79th minute of the match. Tomáš Michal took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brandon Borthwick. Brandon Borthwick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Arthur McKelvie kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. FC FERNET BOYS made a substitution. Ignác Ťažký replaced Juraj Starší. Brandon Borthwick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomáš Michal's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC FERNET BOYS fully deserved thier win.
