After a defensive mix-up in FC Klavertje Vier's zone, Nick McDonachie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zabulón Carabajal came out of the goal and Nick McDonachie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Joos Horemans hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Georges-Philippe Jooris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brandon Borthwick was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joery Hylen in the 11th minute of play. Brandon Borthwick came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Philipp Van Kestbeek. But to his dismay, Philipp Van Kestbeek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joos Horemans hit a great ball. When Celedonio Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Klavertje Vier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Kemen couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Joery Hylen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick. Brandon Borthwick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Kemen. In the 30th minute, Philipp Van Kestbeek made a precise shot to the right of Brandon Borthwick. Dundee Rovers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Brandon Borthwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joery Hylen in the 33rd minute of the match. Brandon Borthwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Van Kestbeek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Joery Hylen came free, but Brandon Borthwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dean Dyer during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zabulón Carabajal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oliver McIlvride. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 44th minute of play. William McJames lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Dundee Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. William McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Georges-Philippe Jooris managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Klavertje Vier's supporters rose to their feet, but Georges-Philippe Jooris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Borthwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philipp Van Kestbeek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Joery Hylen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Klavertje Vier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joery Hylen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Klavertje Vier's zone, Oliver McIlvride stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. FC Klavertje Vier's Lelo Orihuela was substituted for Georges-Philippe Jooris. In the 60thth minute of the game Philipp Van Kestbeek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brandon Borthwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Klavertje Vier's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joos Horemans in the 62nd minute. FC Klavertje Vier's Joos Horemans was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brandon Borthwick in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brandon Borthwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joery Hylen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gus Simpson in the 68th minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Joos Horemans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brandon Borthwick. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 73rd minute, FC Klavertje Vier's Joery Hylen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brandon Borthwick. Brandon Borthwick yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. If Joery Hylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Gus Simpson came free, but Zabulón Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Borthwick made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Claude Montens sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Joery Hylen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brandon Borthwick was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Gus Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zabulón Carabajal having to interfere. FC Klavertje Vier's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joos Horemans in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute, FC Klavertje Vier's Joery Hylen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. In the 96th match minute, Dundee Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gus Simpson to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over FC Klavertje Vier could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dundee Rovers throughout the match.
