The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Carl Dodgson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Jonathan Eli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troyes FC's Kristian Sykes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C. A. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Constantino Bertol took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Kristian Sykes to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Eli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kristian Sykes. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. Constantino Bertol struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Kristian Sykes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Atlanta. The crowd rose to their feet as C. A. Atlanta's Jonathan Eli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Sykes. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th minute, Constantino Bertol made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Sykes. Troyes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 56 played minutes, C. A. Atlanta's Federico Gil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kristian Sykes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Atlanta reached it. If Constantino Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute.
