If Mike Hunter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duncan Farrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Hugo Itzaina made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Sykes. Troyes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Porfiro in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Sykes saved Troyes FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Porfiro in the 17th minute of play forced Troyes FC's goalkeeper Kristian Sykes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Itzaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Feliciano Porfiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Sykes having to make a save. After 24 minutes, Isaac Selatse made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Troyes FC's Kristian Sykes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Troyes FC's Kristian Sykes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Porfiro in the 34th minute of play. Adrian Teyo took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Sykes. Kristian Sykes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, Isaac Selatse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristian Sykes. Troyes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Selatse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Porfiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Sykes was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44th match minute, Troyes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cliff Whittington to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Saverio Osasun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Sykes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After the first half Trapiche were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duncan Farrell was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Saverio Osasun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Sykes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Ruben Dickens hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Osasun in the 59th minute of play forced Troyes FC's goalkeeper Kristian Sykes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Duncan Farrell came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Troyes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Farrell couldn't finish the play. Duncan Farrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Federico Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristian Sykes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Porfiro in the 67th minute of play. Kristian Sykes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Porfiro in the 69th minute of the match. Kristian Sykes came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Trapiche's Hugo Itzaina. But to his dismay, Hugo Itzaina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Kristian Sykes was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Tadeo Abajas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Abajas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. 85 minutes into the game, Saverio Osasun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Kristian Sykes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafael Modestio might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Sykes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Modestio ran back to his position shaking his head. Kristian Sykes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Modestio in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Trapiche's Rafael Modestio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Sykes. That made the score 0-14 after 98 minutes of play. Trapiche's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
