Legacy Youth Academy's Lisandro Rameriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Mazăre in the 17th minute of play. The Legacy Youth Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Rameriz should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Șerbulea in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Rameriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, David Zamfirescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purcaresti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but David Zamfirescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Rameriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Mazăre in the 44th minute of the match. Lisandro Rameriz came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Purcaresti CSS's Ioan Bornescu. But to his dismay, Ioan Bornescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustin Radovan to make the kick off. Ezequiel Ixidor's late challenge caught a Purcaresti CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Ixidor helped the player get up and apologised. 83 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Mazăre came free, but Lisandro Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
