Flamengo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustin Radovan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 13th minute when Iustin Radovan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Valer Șişman made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Flamengo FC's Christian Fantini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
