After having played for 3 minutes, Igor Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Korban's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Șerbulea came free, but Oséias Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Purcaresti CSS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Zamfirescu in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Ioan Bornescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Korban's Oséias Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Șişman in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Mazăre in the 19th minute of play forced AC Korban's goalkeeper Oséias Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Korban's attentive Jaime de Castro managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Crăciunescu made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. After 23 played minutes AC Korban got a freekick which was hit by Kléber da Silveira. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when AC Korban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Purcaresti CSS's Valer Șişman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oséias Dantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Igor Neto took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Trică. Cătălin Trică dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Oséias Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Șişman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Iustin Radovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oséias Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valer Șişman's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Valer Șişman put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Oséias Dantas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Neto got free with Cătălin Trică in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Purcaresti CSS's Valer Șişman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Oséias Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Radovan's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Oséias Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Radovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Cătălin Trică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Neto in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's Emanuel Șerbulea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséias Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaime de Castro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Pavel Mazăre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oséias Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When Iustin Radovan came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Purcaresti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Radovan couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Iustin Radovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioan Bornescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Dantas having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Iustin Radovan notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of AC Korban's Oséias Dantas. Oséias Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The AC Korban fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Purcaresti CSS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
