The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christian Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Neto in the 18th minute of the match. AC Korban's Oséias Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio de Godoi in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Neto in the 23rd minute of play forced Flamengo FC's goalkeeper Christian Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, AC Korban's Igor Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27thth minute of the game Igor Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo FC's Christian Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo FC's zone, Igor Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Fantini came out of the goal and Igor Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Korban's goalkeeper Oséias Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Carlos Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Flamengo FC's Fábio de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Fantini having to interfere. Christian Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Christian Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half AC Korban were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Igor Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Fantini having to interfere. Igor Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Christian Fantini made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Cordeiro came free, but Oséias Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Igor Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Korban's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Neto got free with Christian Fantini in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kléber da Silveira's late challenge caught a Flamengo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléber da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. Joãozinho Sexto took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oséias Dantas. Oséias Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Igor Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Flamengo FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Samuel Luz hit a great ball. After 76 minutes, Zé Carlos Furlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Korban and the Flamengo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Korban's Zé Carlos Furlan got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 80 played minutes AC Korban got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Furlan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Neto got free with Christian Fantini in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Christian Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Igor Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Christian Fantini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded AC Korban left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flamengo FC.
