The referee ignored Le Stade Briochin UC's protests and gave Malik Courtine a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Malik Courtine. DJK Füchtel Vechta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
