In the 18th minute, Pan FC's 许明卫 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 许明卫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 25 minutes, Jano do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palmeiras and the Pan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jano do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Salles in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Pan FC's 许明卫 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in SE Palmeiras's zone, 许明卫 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Dracena came out of the goal and 许明卫 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If 许明卫 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 许明卫's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 许明卫. 许明卫 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson Dracena having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 许明卫 in the 46th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Pan FC made a substitution. Arnaldo Urtzi replaced 许明卫. Pan FC's Erki Uba was substituted for Primitivo Laurendi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Urtzi was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Dracena having to interfere. When Arnaldo Urtzi came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Pan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Urtzi couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes of play, Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pan FC's attentive Ambrosio Opilano managed to snatch the ball when Carlos Fernando Aparecido made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. After 66 minutes of play, Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Arnaldo Urtzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 76th minute Ambrosio Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Dracena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Urtzi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Arnaldo Urtzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnaldo Urtzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Urtzi ran back to his position shaking his head.
