The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Patrício Tavares hit a great ball. Alfredo Santana was a little too slow when Mario Gomes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. A hard shot 9 in the game by Marcin Kieca from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Santana managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Tuga FC's players were relieved. 10 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Alvarenga came free, but Alfredo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leal Vilela's late challenge caught a LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leal Vilela helped the player get up and apologised. Leal Vilela hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Monsanto in the 16th minute of play forced LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Gomes. Tiago Gabriel Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Figueiredo in the 22nd minute of the match. Alfredo Santana made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mario Gomes sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Kieca got free with Alfredo Santana in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandro Moreno made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carolo Leguizamón. Marcin Kieca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alfredo Santana made a huge save. In the 35th minute Carlos Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Carlos Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Gabriel Gomes. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcin Kieca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Gomes in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Santana saved Sporting Tuga FC from getting behind. Alfredo Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Kieca in the 55th minute of play. Alfredo Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Alvarenga in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Figueiredo. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Tiago Gabriel Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Vítor Meireles's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, João Vítor Meireles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC fully deserved thier win.
