Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) Lucky Star's Yani Tegarkov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Bogdan Bogdanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Otong Pink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lucky Star's goalkeeper Joélson Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yoppie Sapulette kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Robescu in the 34th minute of play forced Lucky Star's goalkeeper Joélson Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sören Malmberg made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Yani Tegarkov sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Dracena in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joélson Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Dracena to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Lucky Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yani Tegarkov to maneuver through the defense. Joélson Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes, Dacian Săraru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club 23 and the Lucky Star players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Săraru. Sören Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otong Pink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Bogdanović charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
