Jacinto Ávila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Célio Leite's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teófilo Estrela during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altamora FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Altamora FC:s Tiburcio Liher showed great skill when he stopped Almiro Guimarães:s penalty. Jacinto Ávila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Leite in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Célio Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Ávila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Ávila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rolf Pocobello kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Castilho came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Célio Leite got a free kick in the 55th minute. Altamora FC made a substitution. Nicasio Milian replaced Evaristo Cortez. Altamora FC's Osvaldo Vasques was substituted for Duarte Garcia. Kevin Perandis made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bianco Carota. The audience was convinced that Célio Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Ávila was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Jacinto Ávila was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Altamora FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coelho FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
