Tiburcio Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Castilho in the 4th minute of the match. Célio Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Ávila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coelho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Higino lago was slow to take the kick. During this time Altamora FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Altamora FC's Higino lago to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacinto Ávila despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herminio Raebert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Liher made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Coelho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Leite came free, but Jacinto Ávila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Rodrigo Castilho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coelho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Amado Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Liher came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Coelho FC's Rodrigo Castilho. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Castilho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Herminio Raebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Coelho FC's Kevin Perandis got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Célio Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Ávila. That made the score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. If Célio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Leite scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Ávila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiburcio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Raebert in the 62nd minute of play. Jacinto Ávila made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Célio Leite sent off a good shot on target. Altamora FC's Aleix Vidal was substituted for Teófilo Estrela. Altamora FC's Rodrigo Leão quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bianco Carota, made in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's Célio Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Ávila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 minutes Altamora FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kevin Perandis who took care of the corner kick. Coelho FC's Kevin Perandis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiburcio Liher in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Coelho FC's zone, Célio Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Ávila came out of the goal and Célio Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Célio Leite in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Ávila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higino lago hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Coelho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Higino lago ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Altamora FC's corner Célio Leite fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacinto Ávila quite easily take care of the ball. Célio Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Ávila having to make a save.
