PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommas Lanphan in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Saturnino Ospin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommas Lanphan in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Bartolo Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute PGE FC were awarded a corner. Bartolo Leoiar went to the cornerflag to take it. Dan Gheară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match, Tommas Lanphan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Merexildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aladin Bey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Leoiar came free, but Dan Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PGE FC's zone, Tris Ruddock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Merexildo came out of the goal and Tris Ruddock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tris Ruddocks short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Rolando Merexildo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Made in Honduras defense, Gil Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Gheară. The Made in Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Gheară should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mauro Rivas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rolando Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tris Ruddock in the 59th minute of play. With his leg Dan Gheară managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute Tris Ruddock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PGE FC's Francisco Onbera got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Tommas Lanphan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Made in Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommas Lanphan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Leoiar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Dan Gheară skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 74th match minute, PGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Charro to maneuver through the defense. Made in Honduras made a substitution. Nicolás Mora replaced Tris Ruddock. Eriberto Charro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With 84 minutes on the clock, Mauro Rivas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Made in Honduras! Eriberto Charro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 91 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Pineda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Merexildo. PGE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Pineda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 95 minutes into the match, Mauro Odon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dan Gheară, 1-2. A collision led to PGE FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Saturnino Ospin hit a great ball. Rolando Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Pineda in the 99th minute of the match. PGE FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
