When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Sidney Dunn made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tris Ruddock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dale Nelson was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Tris Ruddock came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. Guillermo Mendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dale Nelson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Guillermo Mendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dale Nelson. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Mendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Nicolás Moras short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Dale Nelson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolás Mora kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dale Nelson. That made the score 3-5 in the 96 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Made in Honduras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
