An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Leoiar in the 12th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaakko Ramstadius in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Kirby in the 19th minute of play. When PGE FC's Eriberto Charro in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Granate's goalie prevented a goal. Jaakko Ramstadius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Merexildo having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Robert Kirby. Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Godoi in the 31st minute of the match. In the 38th minute Robert Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Odon in the 39th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo got control of the ball when Osvaldo Euloxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, PGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Viviano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Palmquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Godoi's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartolo Leoiar to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Granate's Celestino Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Merexildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Rolando Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Christos Triantafyllou put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Merexildo. Rolando Merexildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christos Triantafyllou went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute of the match, Eriberto Charro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Palmquist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Christos Triantafyllou took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Merexildo. Rolando Merexildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 80th minute, Bartolo Leoiar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Palmquist. The goal made the score 6-1. Rolando Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Euloxu in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of PGE FC booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Granate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PGE FC for a fine match.
