An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Robson in the 10th minute of play forced Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Wilfried Henselmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Glenn Gates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Ritchie Branston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Ham United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osdorp FC the free kick. Ritchie Branston kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Theo Groom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Jokiranta in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match Osdorp FC got a corner. East Ham United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Ixona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to East Ham United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Les Simpson hit a great ball. Victor Ixona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Theo Groom. East Ham United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Ixona in the 59th minute of play forced East Ham United's goalkeeper Theo Groom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Teodor Jokiranta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theo Groom. East Ham United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodor Jokiranta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Jack de Koning took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theo Groom. Theo Groom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Theo Groom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack de Koning, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 95th minute, Teodor Jokiranta made a precise shot to the right of Theo Groom. East Ham United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Osdorp FC had played much better football throughout.
