But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Mingo couldn't finish the play. Marcial Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Perico in the 36th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pituil FC's Alejandro Berdaitz was substituted for Adalberto Quaresma. Joystick XXXV's Basilio Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pedrosa in the 75th minute of play. Marcial Chabier made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Fryderyk Kensicki sent off a good shot on target. Joystick XXXV's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
