Tomasz Krupa hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Yosif Bakrachev came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Bulls's Przemyslaw Bejgier got a free kick in the 13th minute. Witomir Glogowski struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Pankracy Pyrtek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galena Kielce. Yosif Bakrachev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Artur Sarnat firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Galena Kielce's zone, Yosif Bakrachev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Sarnat came out of the goal and Yosif Bakrachev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wincent Borczak hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Borczak in the 22nd minute of play forced Red Bulls's goalkeeper Pankracy Pyrtek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yosif Bakrachev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Sarnat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes Galena Kielce's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boruc Kornatowski who took care of the corner kick. Red Bulls's Pankracy Pyrtek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Glogowski in the 31st minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Wincent Borczak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Artur Sarnat was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Yosif Bakrachev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yosif Bakrachev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Wincent Borczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Pyrtek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yosif Bakrachev made a kick off. If Yosif Bakrachev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 52 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Yosif Bakrachev came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Galena Kielce defense, Tomas Gelacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Sarnat. The Galena Kielce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Sarnat should have stopped the shot. Tomas Gelacio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Kornatowski in the 64th minute of play forced Galena Kielce's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Sarnat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Bejgier, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Red Bulls's Tomas Gelacio in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was a penalty for Galena Kielce! Artur Sarnat had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Boruc Kornatowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 94th minute, Boruc Kornatowski made a precise shot to the right of Artur Sarnat. Galena Kielce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Red Bulls's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
