Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Fiume Veneto's Bernardo Spano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Sola in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute Zarando Eguizabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Spano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Spano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulizes Sola's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Vinström in the 6th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Bernardo Spano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Spano came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Astillero del Guayas's Zarando Eguizabal. But to his dismay, Zarando Eguizabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Ulizes Sola came free, but Bernardo Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Astillero del Guayas's Xaiver Ascarretazabal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Spano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardo Spano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulizes Sola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Vinström came free, but Bernardo Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Zarando Eguizabal came free, but Bernardo Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Spano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Bernardo Spano came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Astillero del Guayas's Ulizes Sola. But to his dismay, Ulizes Sola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Bernardo Spano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Eguizabal in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Gustav Vinström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astillero del Guayas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Nacho González took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Esposito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Esposito was the one to do the kick off. If Ulizes Sola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Di Giuseppe. With an all-out effort, Astillero del Guayas's Bernardo Spano threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zarando Eguizabal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardo Spano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ulizes Sola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bernardo Spano made a huge save. Bernardo Spano was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Zarando Eguizabal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zarando Eguizabal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. 69 minutes into the match, Ulizes Sola notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Fiume Veneto's Bernardo Spano. Bernardo Spano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Fiume Veneto's Bernardo Spano got control of the ball when Gustav Vinström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Gustav Vinström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Spano. The goal made the score 0-12. 81 minutes into the game, Zarando Eguizabal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Spano. Zarando Eguizabal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. Bernardo Spano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-14. 87 minutes into the match, Ulizes Sola notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Fiume Veneto's Bernardo Spano. Bernardo Spano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustav Vinström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Spano came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustav Vinström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 90th minute. Juan-Pablo Leyarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bernardo Spano made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Zarando Eguizabal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Spano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-17.
