Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) João Augusto Fantini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Zelg FC's Jonas Herz in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Royal Excel Mouscron's goalie prevented a goal. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute João Augusto Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilles Clerc got free with Edgar Poe in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zelg FC's attentive Stephan Eichenberger managed to snatch the ball when Christian Sundström made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Zelg FC's Irwin Monney slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Poe. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Zelg FC's attentive Stephan Eichenberger managed to snatch the ball when Christian Sundström made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Edgar Poe came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zelg FC's Irwin Monney. But to his dismay, Irwin Monney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Irwin Monney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edgar Poe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Herz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Poe having to make a save. Gilles Clerc came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Poe could save by the left post. Jonas Herz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Poe. Edgar Poe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Fantini in the 41st minute of play. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Herz was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Poe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albain Furst in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Frankl Nadel hit a great ball. Sepp Mainville acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Melker Lundblad. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Kunze, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Edgar Poe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilles Clerc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Augusto Fantini. Irwin Monney scored 4-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Poe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Poe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Eichenberger in the 78th minute of play. Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Kunze in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Jonas Herz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilles Clerc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Poe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play.
