Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) 2 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Román Hoefler came free, but Bernardo Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Spano came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Curicó-Unido's Blas Urtungo. But to his dismay, Blas Urtungo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The throw-in from Axel Elgueta in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fiume Veneto's Emilio Esposito. Román Hoefler scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Spano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Vargas in the 16th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Bernardo Spano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlondón Marileo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Spano. Bernardo Spano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 20 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Orlondón Marileo came free, but Bernardo Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Blas Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Spano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Curicó-Unido booed when Fiume Veneto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Esposito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Eduardo Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curicó-Unido fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 29th minute, Blas Urtungo made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Spano. Fiume Veneto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Bernardo Spano came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Curicó-Unido's Eduardo Vargas. But to his dismay, Eduardo Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Bernardo Spano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Urtungo in the 36th minute of play. Román Hoefler scored 0-8 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Spano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Spano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Urtungo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. After 48 minutes, Eduardo Vargas made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Fiume Veneto's Bernardo Spano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-11 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Esposito was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Curicó-Unido's Álvaro Zambujal made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Spano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Vargas in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Spano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Bernardo Spano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Román Hoefler. Román Hoefler's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernardo Spano firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 60th minute, Blas Urtungo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Spano. The goal made the score 0-13. Blas Urtungo scored 0-14 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Spano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Spano made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Orlondón Marileo sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Spano came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Curicó-Unido's Román Hoefler. But to his dismay, Román Hoefler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-17. In the 84th minute of the match, Eduardo Vargas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Spano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bernardo Spano had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eduardo Vargas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 85 minutes into the match, Blas Urtungo notched a goal, 1-18, to the right of Fiume Veneto's Bernardo Spano. Bernardo Spano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 88 minutes, Eduardo Vargas made it 1-19 with a short kick to the right side. Fiume Veneto's Bernardo Spano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Eduardo Vargas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Spano, 1-20. Bernardo Spano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Vargas in the 98th minute.
