Vaggelis Lalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davi Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vaggelis Lalas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Lucca Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vaggelis Lalas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucca Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaggelis Lalas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of YELLOW FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Witsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davi Vianna scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaggelis Lalas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of YELLOW FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Lucca Gol notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas. Vaggelis Lalas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chaman Do Bonde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Olof Kämpe's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Vianna came free, but Vaggelis Lalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Witsel to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Kämpe came free, but Chaman Do Bonde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Monumento Sports's Lucca Gol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vaggelis Lalas. That made the score 4-0 after 42 minutes of play. After 46 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Davi Vianna. After having played for 47 minutes, Jan-Olof Kämpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YELLOW FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Kämpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davi Vianna was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Lucca Gol made a precise shot to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. YELLOW FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chaman Do Bonde saved Monumento Sports from getting behind. After some careless play in the YELLOW FC defense, Lucca Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. The YELLOW FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vaggelis Lalas should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlassis Bourekidis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, YELLOW FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlassis Bourekidis to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Davi Vianna put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. Monumento Sports made a substitution. Henrique Magalhães replaced Lucca Gol. Monumento Sports made a substitution. Toko Raiven replaced Pedro Luís Zonta. If Henrique Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vaggelis Lalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Chaman Do Bonde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 86th minute of the match. Avraam Sevastopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Monumento Sports fans cheered their team off the field, for while YELLOW FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
