The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovanni Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Seco's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Levent Erkinay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flatline Zombies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 15 minutes of play, Flatline Zombies's Liborius Müller made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Paulo Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Geovanni Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Seco in the 21st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-11 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvério de Mendonça to make the kick off. After 81 minutes of play, Flatline Zombies's Edmondo Conti made it 0-19 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Macaco F.C.'s zone, Paulo Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni Pinho came out of the goal and Paulo Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Seco. The crowd rose to their feet as Uriel Imbach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovanni Pinho. That made the score 0-20 in the 87 minute of play. Geovanni Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Kalb in the 91st minute of the match. Macaco F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Enrique Freitag scored to the left of an out of position Geovanni Pinho, making the score, 0-21. Geovanni Pinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Seco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-22 in the 94 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovanni Pinho. That made the score 0-23 in the 98 minute of play.
