Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Leonardo Ponzio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuervo Loco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Huang Kang Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Mauro Cordearo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Arias in the 12th minute of play forced Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Cuervo Loco FC booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuervo Loco FC's Francis Jamieson got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Tiburcio Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Martínez in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by SOUTH THUNDER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francis Jamieson was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuervo Loco FC's players had a chance to rest. Cuervo Loco FC's Francis Jamieson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauro Cordearo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute, Huang Kang Zhen made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Cordearo. SOUTH THUNDER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The coaching staff of Cuervo Loco FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximo Charro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cuervo Loco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Huang Kang Zhen to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Augusto Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Tab in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huang Kang Zhen in the 54th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huang Kang Zhen took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Cordearo. Mauro Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Agustin Tab's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Kang Zhen in the 61st minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Huang Kang Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Huang Kang Zhen came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cuervo Loco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huang Kang Zhen couldn't finish the play. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huang Kang Zhen in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Cuervo Loco FC's Huang Kang Zhen made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Cordearo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huang Kang Zhen in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the game, Valentin Sindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOUTH THUNDER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuervo Loco FC the free kick. Valentin Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Francis Jamieson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauro Cordearo. SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mauro Cordearo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Huang Kang Zhen's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huang Kang Zhen in the 84th minute of play. When Cuervo Loco FC's Huang Kang Zhen in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. Huang Kang Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Huang Kang Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Huang Kang Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervo Loco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Huang Kang Zhen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Huang Kang Zhen came free, but Mauro Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Kang Zhen in the 93rd minute of play. Cuervo Loco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SOUTH THUNDER for a fine match.
