The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raphael Cunha hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Branden Shelton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 6th minute of play. Branden Shelton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Junior in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Alagoano in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branden Shelton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aníbal Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Branden Shelton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branden Shelton came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano. But to his dismay, Aníbal Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marsel Spaha's late challenge caught a Jenipapo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marsel Spaha helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes K.F TIRANA got a freekick which was hit by Marsel Spaha. Branden Shelton acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arsenio Gipuzkoa. Arsenio Gipuzkoa got in the 22nd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Branden Shelton and thus it was 2-0. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorald Lazaj in the 26th minute of play. Branden Shelton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Branden Shelton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Alagoano. 36 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branden Shelton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 39th minute of play forced K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Raphael Cunha hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Branden Shelton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wincenty Roman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Avram Iorgulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Avram Iorgulescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 52nd minute, one of K.F TIRANA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for K.F TIRANA. K.F TIRANA:s Branden Shelton showed great skill when he stopped Aníbal Alagoano:s penalty. Branden Shelton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Junior in the 58th minute of the match. K.F TIRANA were furious when Wincenty Roman was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of K.F TIRANA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jenipapo SC:s goal. When Raphael Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Jenipapo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Cunha couldn't finish the play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Vinicio Junior left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Dylan Browne kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branden Shelton was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Arsenio Gipuzkoa made a great header on Jenipapo SC's corner, it was just that K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton managed to reach the ball for a save. Vinicio Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Branden Shelton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Branden Shelton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jenipapo SC had played much better football throughout.
