Jeronimo Errapel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Siekierski made a huge save. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Procopio in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Bonifacio Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by GeRaÇãO-83's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeronimo Errapel was slow to take the kick. During this time SOUTH THUNDER's players had a chance to rest. In the 32nd match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Diaz to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Mauro Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Ocampo in the 36th minute of play. Augusto Procopio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Siekierski made a huge save. Medero Gadea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Cordearo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Medero Gadea made a kick off. Medero Gadea kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Grzegorz Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SOUTH THUNDER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeronimo Errapel in the 52nd minute. The corner led to SOUTH THUNDER's Santiago Bautista getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauro Cordearo, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Medero Gadea during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Medero Gadea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Arias in the 74th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grzegorz Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Mauro Cordearo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edin Džeko went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Procopio in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Edin Džeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Mauro Cordearo was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Augusto Procopio made a precise shot to the right of Grzegorz Siekierski. GeRaÇãO-83's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Mauro Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Per-Oskar Ekgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauro Cordearo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
