Branden Shelton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Branden Shelton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Cunha in the 9th minute of the match. Vinicio Junior took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branden Shelton. Branden Shelton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zé Carlos Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 20th minute of play forced K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by K.F TIRANA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Branden Shelton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Branden Shelton came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha. But to his dismay, Raphael Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Roman came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maurício Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano in 35 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Branden Shelton guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Aníbal Alagoano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Branden Shelton. Branden Shelton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Aníbal Alagoano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton. Branden Shelton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Jenipapo SC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paco Cano made a kick off. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Cano in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of K.F TIRANA booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 59th minute of play. Branden Shelton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Cunha in the 61st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Vinicio Junior took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Branden Shelton to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute Vinicio Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by K.F TIRANA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. Arsenio Gipuzkoa made a great header on Jenipapo SC's corner, it was just that K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton managed to reach the ball for a save. 75 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Branden Shelton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branden Shelton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Aníbal Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Branden Shelton made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Aníbal Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Aníbal Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Branden Shelton made a huge save. After 93 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Branden Shelton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jenipapo SC played a much better game than K.F TIRANA and deserved their victory. The K.F TIRANA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
