Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Noel Marinho started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the ERGOTELIS defense, Noel Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stamatis Ifantis. The ERGOTELIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stamatis Ifantis should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Marinho came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Beaton in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamatis Ifantis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ERGOTELIS booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Chesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babbis Kourentas in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Festas saved SLB TELHA from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Tomé to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Panagiotis Agapakis in the 19th minute really tested Lisandro Festas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Patrik Beaton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stamatis Ifantis. ERGOTELIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Beaton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Babbis Kourentas sped through SLB TELHA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Festas. 36 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Beaton came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SLB TELHA were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after ERGOTELIS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Tomé took the corner. Hugo Tomé made a great header on SLB TELHA's corner, it was just that ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 39th minute, Patrik Beaton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Stamatis Ifantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Marinho in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Babbis Kourentas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lisandro Festas. Babbis Kourentas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

ERGOTELIS made a substitution. Sakis Sanidomenos replaced Panagiotis Agapakis. ERGOTELIS's Lazaros Routsis was substituted for Thodoris Kefaloukos. The wind increased when Babbis Kourentas made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ERGOTELIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Festas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Nichifor Juravschi hit a great ball. SLB TELHA's Lisandro Festas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Kourentas in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Marinho during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Noel Marinho. In the 78th minute, SLB TELHA's Patrik Beaton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stamatis Ifantis. Stamatis Ifantis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. After 89 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Chesus. In the 92nd minute, Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Festas. SLB TELHA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. When Patrik Beaton fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SLB TELHA's protests and gave Patrik Beaton a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Beaton. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
