Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Mlekodaj in the 5th minute of play. In the 15th minute Erik Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Short saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Short came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Saga TF's Erik Cantona. But to his dismay, Erik Cantona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Saga TF booed when KS Tęcza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Joks didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Saga TF's Billy Backman tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Erik Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Tęcza's Roger Short was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, KS Tęcza's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Roger Short reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Cantona in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Short prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Erik Cantona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saga TF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Roger Short showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sylwester Ziomkowski made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jerzy Rukszcz however managed to control. Erik Cantona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Short having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saga TF's Leszek Milko got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Sylwester Ziomkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arne Botnen made the kick off in the second half. Saga TF's attack was well implemented in the 67th minute, but when Arne Botnen was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
