Mathias Thorsrud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 16th match minute, Staffordshire Terrier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gary Medel to maneuver through the defense. mixednutz XI's Mathias Thorsrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Schorsch Schmalzbauer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Schorsch Schmalzbauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Thorsrud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Schorsch Schmalzbauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Thorsrud having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Schorsch Schmalzbauer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mathias Thorsrud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Matt Sullivan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Schorsch Schmalzbauer made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Thorsrud. mixednutz XI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mathias Thorsrud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 39th minute of play. If Schorsch Schmalzbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mathias Thorsrud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Schorsch Schmalzbauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Schorsch Schmalzbauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mathias Thorsrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind mixednutz XI's goalkeeper Mathias Thorsrud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Staffordshire Terrier FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Schorsch Schmalzbauer made the kick off in the second half. Mathias Thorsrud came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Staffordshire Terrier FC's Schorsch Schmalzbauer. But to his dismay, Schorsch Schmalzbauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 56th minute of the game Thomas Edland made a throw-in which Øyvind Torkelsen played forward. In the 60th minute, Schorsch Schmalzbauer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Thorsrud was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Thorsrud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Jay Flack was substituted for Gary Medel. Waldemar Guimarães hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes, mixednutz XI's Frode Koch shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clive Holloway came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in mixednutz XI reached it. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Schorsch Schmalzbauer sped through mixednutz XI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathias Thorsrud. After having played for 77 minutes, Matt Sullivan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Sullivan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Schorsch Schmalzbauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Thorsrud having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Schorsch Schmalzbauer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Thorsrud was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Schorsch Schmalzbauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Thorsrud having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, mixednutz XI's goal looked a bit too open when Schorsch Schmalzbauer came free, but Mathias Thorsrud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Thorsrud was a little too slow when Schorsch Schmalzbauer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-9.
