Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zhao Yao Ying took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zhao Yao Ying could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Roger Short however easily saved by the left post. Pawel Jaroszewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhao Yao Ying came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roger Short could save by the left post. Roger Short made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 7th minute. If Pankracy Mlekodaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute of the match KS Tęcza got a corner. Oldham Athletic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sylwester Ziomkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Oldham Athletic's goalie and right to Patryk Witek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Oldham Athletic's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jerzy Rukszcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Tęcza's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Rukszcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guo Han Di breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhao Yao Ying took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Short. Roger Short dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Roger Short made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammed-Emir Benice in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Pawel Jaroszewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Han Di saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guo Han Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Mlekodaj in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Oldham Athletic were awarded a corner. Filippo Bobbio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Oldham Athletic's Valter Abrahamsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Roger Short despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, KS Tęcza's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Hodei came free, but Roger Short reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Short made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Zhao Yao Ying sent off a good shot on target. KS Tęcza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Valter Abrahamsson scored to the left of an out of position Roger Short, making the score, 2-0. Roger Short took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Short made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Pankracy Mlekodaj made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Pankracy Mlekodaj made the kick off in the second half. When Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Tęcza's goalie prevented a goal. Roger Short showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 57th minute of the match. Roger Short stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valter Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Roger Short took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Short made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. William Tingelholm replaced Muhammed-Emir Benice. Oldham Athletic's Sune Axelsson was substituted for Cristian-Federico Dolić. Guo Han Di showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Mlekodaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Zhao Yao Ying managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oldham Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhao Yao Ying was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Short showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Hodei in the 87th minute of the match. Roger Short took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Yao Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Short came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying. But to his dismay, Zhao Yao Ying quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Oldham Athletic's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
