Stamatis Ifantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Notis Bartzokas in the 6th minute of the match. If Konstantinos Kostoulas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Kostoulas kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, Green Horses's Wlodzimierz Rawa got control of the ball when Babbis Kourentas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Konstantinos Kostoulas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Ifantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Terzis in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as ERGOTELIS's Evelio Gregory slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wlodzimierz Rawa. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Kostoulas in the 22nd minute of play. Stamatis Ifantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Notis Bartzokas in the 23rd minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Rawa was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Panagiotis Agapakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Panagiotis Agapakis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Wlodzimierz Rawa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Gregory in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Chan Clet notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis. Stamatis Ifantis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chan Clet in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamatis Ifantis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 minutes ERGOTELIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thanos Psarros who took care of the corner kick. 45 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Bartzokas came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Babbis Kourentas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Odysseas Terzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Kostoulas came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wlodzimierz Rawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Green Horses's Babbis Markatos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Babbis Markatos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Green Horses protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Babbis Markatos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Green Horses! The referee gave ERGOTELIS a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Panagiotis Agapakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Green Horses's Wlodzimierz Rawa. 3-1. Stamatis Ifantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseas Terzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Gregory. Stamatis Ifantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odysseas Terzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wlodzimierz Rawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Agapakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With his leg Stamatis Ifantis managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Green Horses's Chan Clet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 70 in the game by Chan Clet from a close distance when the talented Stamatis Ifantis managed to make a qualified save. ERGOTELIS's players were relieved. Menios Karagiorgis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Panagiotis Agapakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Paris Mourlos fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Paris Mourlos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Green Horses getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Paris Mourlos hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Panagiotis Agapakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ERGOTELIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Agapakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Thodoris Kefaloukos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Rawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chan Clet. Babbis Kourentas scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wlodzimierz Rawa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stamatis Ifantis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chan Clet in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ERGOTELIS had won after a very even match.
