With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clive Holloway prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Schorsch Schmalzbauer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Botnen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Erik Cantona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clive Holloway was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
