Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammed-Emir Benice in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Saga TF's Erik Cantona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Erik Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guo Han Di. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 14th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by Erik Cantona. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erik Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Cantona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guo Han Di having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Guo Han Di had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Cantona. Guo Han Di made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Cantona in the 33rd minute. Erik Cantona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Guo Han Di when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Yao Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yao Ying came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Erik Cantona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saga TF and the Oldham Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Erik Cantona hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Trond Gilde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guo Han Di. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. Guo Han Di took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Cantona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Zhao Yao Ying came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joachim Forseth could save by the left post. Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 58th minute of play. Erik Cantona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Oldham Athletic getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aleksander Lingren hit a great ball. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. Valter Abrahamsson replaced Muhammed-Emir Benice. Oldham Athletic's Cristian-Federico Dolić was substituted for Sune Axelsson. Aleksander Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When Saga TF's Erik Cantona in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oldham Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Saga TF's Santi Urbieta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gösta Brolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joachim Forseth having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Erik Cantona notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di. Guo Han Di was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Ånger to maneuver through the defense. Erik Cantona took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guo Han Di. Guo Han Di dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 93 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Guo Han Di reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Cristian-Federico Dolić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joachim Forseth. Cristian-Federico Dolić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Saga TF were victorious despite being under pressure from Oldham Athletic for much of the match.
