Torsten Bäcklin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Mr.Magoo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 57th minute of the match, Doğa Gazzal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but César Proença saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Mr.Magoo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Proença should have stopped the shot. Mr.Magoo's César Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğa Gazzal in the 86th minute of play. Damian Teofila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ulizes in the 89th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Mr.Magoo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
