After taking down the ball on Mr.Magoo's corner Torsten Bäcklin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Garibaldo Quijana quite easily take care of the ball. César Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orti Sánchez went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Duardo Montero hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Garibaldo Quijana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Joaquin Saturnin in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fillos de Breogán's Xabat Armada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Sánchez in the 16th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper César Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mr.Magoo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lope Herrero was slow to take the kick. During this time Fillos de Breogán's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fillos de Breogán's Lope Herrero to fire away a dangerous shot which César Proença despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xinto Palencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Proença having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Lope Herrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fillos de Breogán and the Mr.Magoo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fillos de Breogán's Lope Herrero got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Garibaldo Quijana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Sánchez in the 29th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper César Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mr.Magoo's César Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orti Sánchez in the 38th minute of play. When Orti Sánchez came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Fillos de Breogán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orti Sánchez couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orti Sánchez in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Orti Sánchez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mr.Magoo booed when Fillos de Breogán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lope Herrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Sánchez in the 54th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper César Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mr.Magoo defense, Orti Sánchez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Proença. The Mr.Magoo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Proença should have stopped the shot. After 59 minutes, Orti Sánchez made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mr.Magoo's César Proença tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fillos de Breogán's Xoan Galaiko was substituted for Calisto Abril. Xoan Galaiko struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. César Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fillos de Breogán. Mr.Magoo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Reno Wilmots scored to the left of an out of position César Proença, making the score, 0-6. If Reno Wilmots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reno Wilmots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. César Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Reno Wilmots made a precise shot to the right of César Proença. Mr.Magoo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. The Fillos de Breogán players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
