David Beckham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hugo Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Esteban Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Kajfasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukasz Hodyl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hugo Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the game, Stefan Mathiassen landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Wawrzyniec Mroczynski's late challenge caught a FRANK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wawrzyniec Mroczynski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FRANK booed when ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. The FRANK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Ignado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedykt Kajfasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roald Engebakken's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Roald Engebakken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Benedykt Kajfasz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Wawrzyniec Mroczynski put in a rough tackle. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Benedykt Kajfasz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patrick Senneville hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
