With a little luck, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura got control of the ball when Faustino Cedro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Faustino Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Ortle in the 19th minute of the match. Victor Ortle spun around in front of the goal 20 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of LOS MENTI's goal. In the 57th minute Sid Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Walter Tufan was substituted for Torbjørn Trondsen. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Victor Ortle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şenol Güneş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Sid Lampard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Walter Tufan to fire away a dangerous shot which Şenol Güneş despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Şenol Güneş managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Vágner Severo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute Sid Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vágner Severo scored 0-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şenol Güneş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 96 minutes, Roderigo Ochari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS MENTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roderigo Ochari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see LOS MENTI lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
