After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Cezary Kasiewski got a free kick in the 9th minute. GKS Katowice's Amadeo Roma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Katowice from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Roma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Lund in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Olgierd Sokolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Ture Lund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Värdsholmen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 24th minute Ture Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Roma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Kasiewski came free, but Joel Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Umea took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Tolsson. Joel Tolsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ture Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, BK Värdsholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Häger to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ludomir Zacharek sped through BK Värdsholmen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joel Tolsson. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Olgierd Sokolski hit a great ball. After the first half GKS Katowice were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ture Lund to make the kick off. When BK Värdsholmen's Bo-Erik Grelsson in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Konrad Komanski scored 1-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Tolsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cezary Kasiewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Tolsson having to make a save. Gustaf Snäll's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustaf Snäll helped the player get up and apologised. Dominik Brysz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Tolsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson got control of the ball when Ludomir Zacharek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludomir Zacharek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olgierd Sokolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Joel Tolsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Snäll hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the match was over GKS Katowice could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BK Värdsholmen throughout the match.
