Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when 汪常然 kicked off to start the match. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by LOS MENTI's 汪常然. But to his dismay, 汪常然 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, Gervásio Severiano made a precise shot to the right of Şenol Güneş. LOS MENTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Şenol Güneş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervásio Severiano made a great header on VB-Team's corner, it was just that LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş managed to reach the ball for a save. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joaquim de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şenol Güneş was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, LOS MENTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 汪常然 to maneuver through the defense. Şenol Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Álvaro Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofiane Mourlon struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Armindo Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS MENTI. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Caeiro made a kick off. Şenol Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Joaquim de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 57 minutes into the match, Alisson De Gasperi notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş. Şenol Güneş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, LOS MENTI's Albino Garaona got a free kick in the 60th minute. Faustino Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Armindo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Caeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Luís Caeiro. In the 72nd minute, Traian Hăvârneanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şenol Güneş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. VB-Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 79th minute.
